Hayley Montelongo-Herber (she/her)

MSW Student, Adminstrative Team

Hayley will be stepping into her new role in administration and as an MSW Intern at Flourish Counseling & Consultation, where she will support both the clinical team and clients with compassion, organization, and care. A graduate of California State University, Fullerton (2020), Hayley brings a strong background in special education and early childhood development. Her experiences as a special education behaviorist and educator shaped her passion for working with children and families in supportive, inclusive environments.

As a Master of Social Work student, Hayley is committed to developing a trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and strengths-based approach to care. She values authenticity, creativity, and collaboration, believing that healing and growth begin with feeling safe, seen, and supported. Her vision is to work with children and families through a lens that prioritizes connection, social-emotional development, and resilience.

Outside of her academic and professional roles, Hayley finds joy and balance in time with her dachshund, Chili, who is always by her side. She also enjoys hot yoga, weightlifting, exploring new places, and savoring an iced coffee on just about any day. Connection and curiosity are at the heart of how she lives both personally and professionally.
